Competition Teams 2012-2013

Hello Everyone,

I know we said Monday-but it is done and so we decided not to make you wait!!  So-please know first of all how much wonderful talent we saw today.  There were large groups trying out for each team.  We hate to cut anyone-but unfortunately, that's just the nature of what today is all about.  It's a really hard day for us too!!!

PLEASE check each team for your number.  We may have shifted dancers around.  Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Jill will be in the office on Monday from 12-2 to register dancers for Intensive Camp and Summer Dance Blast.  Intensive is REQUIRED for Tinys, Minis, Smalls, Tweens, JV and Varsity Jazzerettes.  Summer Dance Blast is REQUIRED for I-Jump and I-Crew.

Tryouts update

A great big Thanks to all who came to audition today! We are proud of all our great dancers and your willingness to be part of IDS!

Competition Team Lists will be posted at the Central Studio on Monday June 4 at noon. Jill will be at the studio Monday from 12-2 p.m. to register for Intensive Dance Camp and Summer Dance Blast. We will also post the lists on the blog Monday at approx. 12p.m. (please be patient with us!)

Please remember your audition number...the lists will be by number only. Also, please check ALL lists for your number.

Summer Dance Blast CHANGES

Please note the time changes for Summer Dance Blast.
3-5 year olds will come from 2-2:45
4th-6th will come from 12-3.

Sorry for any confusion this may cause!

Competition Teams 2012-2013

Here are prices and times for the competition teams for

2012-2013. 

Tinys ($65/month)
EASTSIDE studio on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30
CENTRAL studio on Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 (*Thursdays will now be a 2 hour class)

Minis- ($75/month)
Minis will be at the EASTSIDE studio on both Tuesdays and Thursdays.  PLEASE remember that carpooling is the way to go!!  :)
Tuesday from 4:30-6:30
Thursday from 3:30-5:30

**All other competition teams will be at the CENTRAL studio, with the exception of I-Jump**

Smalls-($85/month)
Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30
Thursdays from 4:30-7:30

Tweens- ($105/month)
Tuesdays from 4:00-6:30
Thursdays from 4:30-7:30

**Smalls and Tweens will be doing Hip Hop together on Thursdays!!

JV and Varsity Jazzerettes-($115/month)
Monday from 4:00-7:00
Wednesday from 4:00-7:00

I-Crew-($55/month)
Wednesdays 7:00-8:30

I-Jump (EASTSIDE) ($55/month)
Thursday from 5:30-7:30

Summer Classes

We have a few summer classes still open for July and August.  Please stop by the office to register your students.  Payment is due at the time of registration. It's $50 per month for one class and $65 for both.

6-8 year olds
M-W 3:30-4:30 Ballet Jazz
          4:30-5:30 Tumbling
12 and up
M-W  5:30-6:30 Ballet Jazz
           6:30-7:30 Tumbling

Tryouts for 2012-2013

All tryouts will be June 2 at the Central Studio, 2437 Heyrend Way

Tinys Team (Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop) is 1st-2nd grade from 12-1pm in studio 2  

Minis Team(Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop) is 2nd-3rd grade from 12-1pm in studio 1  

Smalls Team(Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop) is 4th - 6th grade from 1-2pm in studio 1

I-Jump Team(Hip Hop) is 4th - 6th grade from 2-3pm in studio 2

Tweens Team(Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop) is 6th - 8th grade from 2-4pm in studio 1

JV Jazzerettes Team(Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop) is 8th grade and up from 4-6pm in studio 1 

Jazzerettes Team(Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop) is 10th grade and up from 4-6pm in studio 1

I-Crew Team(Hip Hop) is 7th grade and up from 6-7pm in studio 1

Saturday March 10th Competition

Competition will be at the  Civic Auditorium which is attached to Idaho Falls High School on Holmesand 5th.
Admission is $6.00 for Adults, $3.00 for Children, and 3 and under are free.
Competition  starts at 9:00 am and will get over around 5:00pm.


Each team needs to arrive ready in hair and make-up for the dance listed at your specific time.  Please wear your warm ups!

#41 Smile-SMALLS hair in a low left pony tail parted on the right with jewel on headband on lest side of head not above the left eye

I KNOW THESE ARE SUPER FAST CHANGES, BUT EVERY STUDIO ATTENDING has super fast changes too.
WE CAN DO IT BECAUSE IDS IS AWESOME!
This will be a super short and sweet comp so it may be a good one for the Daddy's to attend!
Please be prepared to yell super super loud for our studio because it really gets our dancers fired up and ready on stage! REALLY!
Also remember to wear you IDS shirts and there are still a few left in the office if you would like to buy one this week. Tell whomever you want to come and support.
