Recital Fees

There is a $15 recital fee for EACH DANCER. If you have two or more dancers at the studio the "family rate" is $25. On our original calendar, the recital fee was due with December tuition. HOWEVER, now that the recital is earlier than the 10th, we need it paid NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 18th. The recital fee is so that your family and friends don't have to pay admission to get into the show. Thank you for getting it paid on time.

Dress Rehearsals

Below is the dress rehearsal schedule. PLEASE look closely for your time and plan on arriving at least 10 minutes before your dancer is to be on stage. They need to be completely ready to dance. Hair and make-up, tights and shoes....EVERYTHING. :) Those who have danced with us before know that we run right on schedule.
NOTE THURSDAY SCHEDULED HAS CHANGED SINCE THE E-MAIL BECAUSE OF TEACHER CONFLICTS!!!

Also pictures will be taken immediately after each class is done on stage with their dress rehearsal. They will go straight out to foyer to get picture taken! YEAH!

Also, the winter recital will be recorded and you will be able to purchase a copy on DVD. The cost will be $15 for one show, $25 for two shows and $30 for 3 shows. Order forms will be available to sign up at dress rehearsal. Must pay for DVD when you order.

New Studio Open House!

We are THRILLED to announce that we are opening a
BRAND NEW CENTRAL LOCATION!!
We will no longer be located on 15th street-our new space is only 3 miles south!!

It is located off South Yellowstone Highway on Heyrend Way!!! It is twice as big and has three separate studios for our dancers. We are so excited for the upcoming year and can't wait to show it to everyone!!

We will have a "Back to DANCE" Open House on AUGUST 31st from 6-8 pm. PLEASE take the time to come and tour the new facility and meet your teacher! We have two new instructors at Infinity this year and we are anxious for everyone to see how amazing they are.

If you haven't already registered for the upcoming year-you are welcome to do so that night as well! We will be taking registrations for both the new Central location as well as our Eastside location.

Registration will be open all summer...some classes do fill up fast!

**Please fill out the registration form and indicate which class you are signing your dancer up for. Read and sign a "Rules and Policies" form to mail in with registration form. There is also a $25.00 nonrefundable registration fee to hold your dancers spot in the class for this Fall. Once your 2 forms are signed and mailed in with registration fee you will receive a confirmation e-mail letting you know if you got into your desired class or not.

The dancers have voted on which dances they want to perform at the Studio recitals on Saturday, May 21. They will do the same dances at both shows!

Registration for 2011-2012

BREAKING NEWS!!
We have decided to do registration throughout the summer to avoid the long lines and 2 crazy nights this fall! Watch for the exact date, but it will be this JUNE when registration will be open. Please be sure to follow the registration process as outlined to be sure your daughter/son gets into the desired class.

1. Fill out registration form and sign dancer agreement.
2. Pay registration fee and turn in forms.
3. Select class your dancer will attend.

Filling out the form will not guarantee them a spot in the class until the fee has been paid. The forms will be available in the next few weeks here on the blog and at the studio locations. We are working out the class schedule now and will have that for you soon. Please pass the word to all your friends and perspective dancers that we have changed the registration this year and to be on the look out for the first day of registration, in June.

Hi All

Here is all the information you need for April 29th and 30th.
All solos, Duet, and Trio will be Friday night and all teams will be on Saturday.

Here are the times I would like each team to be READY to go on Saturday...
not walking in the door, but READY
Tinys- 9:30 am in Down, Set, Hut
Minis- 8:30 am in Work It Girl
Smalls- 10:30 am in Lollipop
Juniors- 8:30 am in Push Push
Jazzerettes- 8:00 am in Smile

It will be a long day for all teams! Lets keep our energy going by really cheering loud for one another and staying positive all day.

Dancers are getting all the information in a packet at dance today!
Juniors and Jazzerettes are more then welcome to come and pick up their packets today as well.

Each dancer will have a wristband attached to packet that is how they get into the competition. Please
wear wristband on RIGHT hand for Saturday. If you lose it you will have to pay to get into competition.

Also I would REALLY REALLY like any Jazzerettes and Juniors to come on Thursdays when they can!

Notes from UDC:

Youhave been assigned a dressing room for Saturday. See the attached map for your dressing room location! Please check your dressing rooms before awards and be sure they are left in good condition! Absolutely NO GLITTER is allowed in the school!

All props that come in contact with the floor must be carpeted or rubberized! Any damage caused by your props will be your responsibility.

Please have your teams lined up and ready to take the floor immediatelyfollowing the routine before you. To stay on the time schedulewe may have to tighten up the entrances so please be ready!

You and your students can go to the website www.utahdancechampionships.com to see updated line-ups once any corrections or changes have been made.

A"DANCE OFF" will be held while the tabulation is being completed on Friday & Saturday. The cost is $3 and the money goes to the winner in each category! There will be several different categories.

Concessions will be set up as a fundraiser for the High School Drill Team. Inform your parents that no outside food or drink is allowed in the school and to please support the Drill Team fundraiser.

DIRECTIONS TO ROY HIGH: From I-15 take the5600 S. exit #338 and go West. At the 1st light turn right (North) on 1900 West. At the light on 4800 S. turn left (West). This is Easter Weekend so as soon as you dancer is done performing for the day you are free to go!All teams need to arrive at 6pm in the other gym.

It is now the time of year we have been working soooo hard for!!! Competitions!! I ask that everyone come prepared There are way too many dancers forgetting their costumes and such! I made everyone a check list PLEASE go over it before you leave your house. I am organized so that you can be as well :)

All teams are gearing up for Jazzerettes in Concert May 20th with NEW dances!! Minis and Tinys are doing a Justin Beber dance with guest Jazzerette performers! Smalls and Juniors are teaming up together to do a dance as well.
If you have too days absent or ups that could result in an absent you can make them up by coming to practice with the other team you are dancing with!!!

Tinys & Minis can come Wednesdays from 4:30-5pm with Jazzerettes
Smalls need to come every Friday from 5-6pm at East studio

The reason we are having them early is because our picture gal, Aimee is having a baby in the spring. Also, please plan on all costumes, including ballet and warm-ups.

Dance For Life Results

We are so proud of our dancers and their efforts. They killed it! We now know exactly what we need to work on.

Tinys- We are listing Tinys first because they stole the show!! Tinys took FIRST PLACE in both of their dances and also won the OVERALL NOVICE division! Woo Hoo Tinys! They literally could not have done any better.

Minis- Minis took first in Hip Hop and Second in Jazz, only missing first place by 5 points. The judges loved how difficult the dance was for that age group and commented on their good technique. They thought that Work it Girl was super fun and loved their outfit and hair.

Smalls- Smalls took second in Hip Hop, Third in their modern (Don't Stop Believin') and Sixth in their Jazz (Dancing Queen). They loved the lollipop costume and energy. We think Don't Stop Believing was performed the best we've ever seen it!! The Smalls team is ready to work hard in ballet to improve each of their dances!

Juniors- Took FIRST and SECOND in Hip Hop for Body Rock and Zombie Club. They took Fifth for Jazz (Push Push), Third for lyrical Feel My Love. Juniors also took FIRST with Body Rock in the Intermediate Division and THIRD for Zombie Club. TWO PLACES IN THE OVERALL STANDINGS!! They took first and third out of 47 dances in their division. The judges loved the Body Rock costumes! They said they were super fun and bright and filled up the stage....thanks for ALL of your hard work Pam to get these put together!! They loved the Zombie concept-very unique and it was performed very well. For Feel My Love they said that they could tell you love doing the dance and it was a beautiful performance. VERY WELL DONE!

Jazzerettes- Took Second in Hip Hop for Hoodies, Second in Jazz for Hot Like Wow and both of these dances were only 3 points away from first!!! Steal the Show took a close fourth as the top 4 places were all within 3 points!! (First and second place tied.) Arms took third and Smile took fourth. Rockin' the USA took Fourth as well. Hoodies took SECOND in the overall ADVANCED division which was 42 numbers!! When they announced second place, the judge said, "I LOVED that dance". :)

So: Overall we are so THRILLED with the results. We took FIRST in the Novice division, FIRST in the Intermediate division and SECOND in the Advanced division against some amazing, tough, competition.

We are really proud of our girls and appreciate their hard work. We are also really cracking down and focusing our attention on ballet over the next 6 weeks. We have talked to each team and explained that for them to improve their technique, they need to improve their ballet!! We are so excited, they are excited and here we go!

For those of you who haven't attended the Ogden competition before it is held in the Val A. Browning Center on the Weber State Campus. The address is: 3750 Harrison Blvd, Ogden Utah
When you walk in the front door, you will take a sharp left and follow the signs to our dressing room. You won't go up the stairs.
Remember to bring you can of food to get $3 off your admission!!
The times to be there are below. You should've been e-mailed the dance order.
Juniors and Jazzerettes:You need to be at the facility at 7:15 am. We will start warming up together at 7:30 in our dressing room
Smalls: Arrive by 9:00 am

I hope everyone is enjoying the month of February so far! I know it has been hard for a few of you this year not being able to watch your dancer in class and I really want your experience at IDS to be great for you and your dancers. So that being said I would like to invite all parents wanting to observe classes to GO FOR IT
the month of February. This is IDS's Happy Valentines Gift to you and a Thank You for sharing your dancer with us! If classes go well and teachers are fine then we will consider making this permanent. HOWEVER if it is to difficult to keep the focus on the students then we will have to end it in March :( Please understand we want the very best for the students. HAPPY VALENTINES!

Hello Competition Teams!

Please read the whole list and maybe even twice :) Thanks for being soooo awesome at the winter recitals and showing all other studio dancer a great example! I love my teams and team parents very much!! I am very excited to perform like crazy now!

1. Girls in the half times this Friday need to be at Hillcrest at 6 pm...Jazzerettes still have dance from 4-5pm Juniors DO NOT have dance from 5-6pm.

2. January 24th is Shelley Drill Team Talent Show at 6pm and IDS has been a asked to attend. I would like to take younger girls who normally do not have practice on Monday because we need all the practice time we can get before the big comp on Feb 12th! Smalls will perform their new dance "Don't Stop Believin" , Minis will perform "Work it Girl", and Tinys will perform both "Mickey" and "Down Set Hut"

3. I need all juniors to bring back their brown dresses so we can sew ribbon on the bottom of them ASAP!

4. Which brings me to my next thing....Would anyone be willing to sew some ribbon on the bottom of the 22 brown dresses? Any help with costumes right now would be awesome!!

5. Minis leg warmers are still not here from target when I ordered them Nov.11th.....the company said "they are not in warehouse, so they are waiting to be shipped" whatever that means :( So please continue to have your dancer wear her socks she got at winter recital. Thanks

6. JAZZERETTES ARE IN SERIOUS NEED OF TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITIES!!! We would like to have a sleep over/ all night practice at East Studio on January 28th. This is something we did at the studio I grew up at and it was always a BLAST! ALL JAZZERETTES need to be there! This is an all or none sort of thing :) Let me know if this date will not work so we can figure something else out. (Don't worry other teams we will plan something fun for you as well)

7. All solos, duet, and trio will have an all together practice /show n tell on Monday Feb. 7th at 7pm at Central studio...Parents are welcome. Good practice before competitions.

8 .STAGE PRACTICE AT HILLCREST will be Feb 9th for Jazzerettes and Juniors from 4-7pm and Thursday Feb 10th for Tinys, Minis, and Smalls from 4-7pm. This will be great right before the competition that weekend!

A few items of business for competition teams:

1. Don't forget that all dancers need their tights and shoes from "All That Dance Wear" 390-9650 for Winter Recital next week. If they do not have them they will not perform.......we have a high standard for comp teams :)
Please remember that IDS is not associated with this store. I just tell her what shoes and color of tights I want for the girls. I don't know who has paid and who has not.....sorry.

2. ALL JAZZERETTES need to bring back their ballet costumes to dance ASAP because the back ordered ones will not get here in time so we have rushed ordered a new outfit......OH THE JOYS OF COSTUME ORDERING!!!

3. Jazzerettes are performing at both recitals! Juniors and Minis are Dec 11th and Smalls and Tinys are Dec 9th and 10th

4. Get Recital fee paid before dress rehearsal because its hard on Jill to have to track people down and try to get her 3 girls ready as well. We would really appreciate it. :)

5. Mnis have extra practice on Monday from 7-8pm

Winter Recital Information

First of all: It's Parents week this week!! All of you wonderful parents are invited to come into your children's classes to see what they have been working on! :) Please remember to be courteous to your dancer and their instructor and not to distract from the class.

Just to clarify: The Eastside refers to our studio on 17th out in Ammon. Central refers to our studio on 15th St. And the "Tinys, Minis, Smalls, Juniors, and Jazzerettes" are our auditioned competition teams that all attend at the Central studio.

basic rehearsal and show time information: The dancers need to be at Hillcrest 10 minutes before their stage rehearsal time.
A dress rehearsal means that you have full hair, make-up and costume on just like you will for the real show! Your dancer will be receiving a handout in class describing their costume pieces and how they should be worn along with how their hair and make-up should be done. (A heads up for all Ballet moms: All ballet shoes and tights need to be pink!
If you need to purchase any shoes or tights, you can contact Cassie Murdock will "All That Dancewear" at 390-9650

At Hillcrest there is a side stage door by a garage door facing Sunnyside road that dancers can come in through with one parent only. If your dancer is in only 1 dance that night we also ask that they come and go in the costume because of limited dressing rooms.

During both shows we ask that you bring your dancer back stage to perform their dance 2 numbers before their dance. Please do not get out of your seat until each dance is over.

We ask that you DO NOT tape off seats to save for your family and friends during dress rehearsal. The stage crew of Hillcrest will remove it. If you would like to save seats the doors open at 5:15 and then you are welcome to sit and save for your family and friends.It will not be as crowded as last year because we have cut the show into 2 shows, but still be aware that there will be a big crowd. We also ask that if the people you are saving for are not seated 5 to 7 mins before the show please give up their seat. I want these recitals to be a fun and enjoyable evening for everyone. Especially the dancers! Lets keep our Christmas Spirit :)

Your dancer will NOT be able to perform if:

1.Recital fee of $15.00 per dancer or $25.00 per family of dancers is NOT paid.
The $15 recital fee (or $25 for more than one dancer) is to pay for the auditorium. There will be no admission for your family and friends. PLEASE include your recital fee with your December tuition. There will be a list of unpaid fees at dress rehearsal and we will be checking each class as they are rehearsing. It is really a hassle to be collecting money at the auditorium, so please be considerate and get it paid before the show.

2. Costume is not paid for.
If you have not yet received a costume price they will be posted soon. I will send another e-mail out at the end of the week with costume prices listed for each class. Many of you have already paid and we so appreciate that!! Please get your money in as soon as possible so we can have everything ready to distribute. Thanks!!

3. Your account is in the negative and you have fees past due.
If you have certain circumstances where any of these might be very difficult to do please contact Gretchen Hunsaker (Owner) and she will be more then happy to discuss things over with you :)

There WILL be dance held the week after the recital.
Dance lets out for the Christmas break on December 17th and resumes Monday, January 3rd.

Upcoming Competition Fees

Just reminding you that our first competition fees are due no later than November 22. The cost is:

$60 for Tinys, $80 for Minis, $120 for Smalls, $160 for Juniors and $240 for Jazzerettes.

The second fee is due by January first and is for the same amount.

If you sold cookie dough, you should've received a separate e-mail with your amount of credit. If you'd like me to apply your credit to your competition fees, please let me know.
Gretchen wanted me to stress the importance of getting these paid on time. She has to register for our competitions well before the dates we arrive and it is difficult for her to do when payments are late.

Just a reminder that September tuition is due no later than September 10th! If it is not paid by then, a $10 late fee will be added to your account.

We've had a little confusion on tuition amounts.
Gretchen raised her prices by $5 / month.

Exciting new things are coming to IDS this FALL!!

We will have another IDS location out in Ammon called IDS East.

Also, a brand new staff member (and another sister) Molly Jorgensen is coming to us!! She has her Masters degree in Modern Dance from U of U and a Bachelors in Dance from BYU. She has received several awards from these Universitys for her teaching and choreography.

WE ARE EXCITED to have her!!!

Also a reminder that Summer Dance Blast still has spots available in it for anyone who is interested in one week of pure FUN dancing!!! They learn quit a bit at this camp.

Wonderland Pictures will be taken at the studio on Thursday May 20th. Please be all ready to go 5-10 minutes before you scheduled time.

Amy is amazing and the pictures always turn out wonderful! You will not regret purchasing them. Even if you do not plan to purchase pictures PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come so we have a whole class photo!

Summer Dance Blast 2010
Camp registration forms and schedules are now in the office!!
Limited space is available for all dancers:
12 spots in preschool
20 spots in 1-3rd grade
25 spots in 4-6th grade
25 spots in Intermediate level
25 spots in Advanced level

Summer Classes
We will be having summer dance classes this year available for ages 3rd grade and up!!
These classes will run July 6th- 28th and August 3rd-26th .

Tuesday from 5:30-7pm for 3rd -6th grade and will cost $40.00 a month.
Wednesday from 5:30-7:30pm for 7th and up and will cost $45.00 a month.

These classes will be taught by BJ Kane. The focus in these classes will be on dance technique, and building better muscle tone and control.

April 21st at 5:15 I need the MAD HATTER, ALICE, and WHITE RABBIT to meet me at Amy Powell's house to get their picture taken for the Wonderland Poster.

April 23rd from 4-7pm Samantha will be here to teach the Tea Party Scene (Juniors, Jazzerettes, and Smalls). Pointe class will still take place in the middle from 5:15-6:15.

April 23rd 7:15-8:15 Junior Party at "Hot Diggity Dog" restaurant. It is across the street from the Idaho Museum. It will be fun for the girls to get together in a social setting and have fun as a team!

April 24th from 8-10am Samantha is going to teach a fun Hip Hop dance for Jazzerettes in concert to whoever wants to be in it. The girls can even bring a friend to do it with them....the friend will just pay $10.00 to be in it.

April 29th from 7:30-8:30 We will have a meeting for all main characters. We will discuss when they enter and exit the stage and which parts of the show they are in , etc.

Celebrity Dance Competition Results

Hi All
WOW!!! What an amazing weekend for IDS!!! We were on fire Saturday and it showed big time and paid off big time as well. For those who are unfamiliar with the scoring system this is how it works:
Each dance itself is judged on how many points it gets, Platinum being the highest then High Gold, Gold, and Silver.

Then they take the highest points and give 1st, 2nd, 3rd in their STYLE category (Like Hip Hop, jazz, modern, etc.)
Then they take the entire age group with all style categories and give the overall awards of 1st overall, 2nd overall, 3rd overall.....this is the highest level you can achieve at Celebrity!

So with that being said hold on to your seats because IDS ROCKED THE HOUSE!!!

Sadie and Bayden got a High Gold and a 1st in category and 2nd overall!!!
Kaitlyn Kessinger got a Gold and 4th overall
Blakeley Smith got a Gold and 5th overall with 13 people in her category!!!

I just want my studio family and friends at IDS to know how much I appreciate everything they are doing to keep IDS strong! My staff is so amazing and wonderful. Thank you for caring about your dancers in such a way that you want them to succeed in dance and teaching them how not only to be a better dancer, but better people as well!

Thank you to such wonderful parents of all the IDS dancers for allowing us to teach them! And all the extras you do around IDS to help keep my sanity!

And thank you to all my wonderful dancers! One of my most favorite things is watching you grow into a beautiful dancer. I can't believe how hard our competition teams have worked this year to get ready! The staff and I are always talking about how amazing each team is this year and how hard they work and how much we love our girls (and you too, Tyler)! It's incredible to me how much these little dancers love to dance. I know they would have to, to put up with me :) It has been crazy practices because we are competing an entire month earlier then normal, but the teams look so GOOD!

I am so excited to go and cheer them on! Parents we need a loud cheer section because you would not believe how much it helps the team get fired up! Thanks again to everyone who is a part of IDS. I truly feel so blessed to have each and every one of you as a part of my life.

A calendar of events was sent home with your dancer this week (or will be the beginning of next week depending on the day you dance). Please keep it so you can refer to it often. It has pretty much EVERY DATE on there that is important for you to know as far as dance is concerned.

If you have conflicts or questions, please let Gertie or your teacher know IMMEDIATELY! Please don't wait 6 months to tell us if you have a conflict when you know about it now! We understand that things come up, but if you are planning a week at Disneyland in April, my guess is you already know about it, so we would like to know about it too!

Parent Meeting

September 30 at 8 pm is the parent meeting for all Competition Team Dancers parents. There will be a lot of information covered. If you are unable to attend please send someone in you place.

ALSO

before the meeting, at 7pm, we will have the warm up exchange. Bring your IDS warm ups that no longer fit to sell to a smaller girl. If you have never purchased a warm up, this would be a GREAT opportunity to get one slightly used. Please come prepared to purchase a new warm up if you are unable to get a used one. They will be $65.

Utah Dance Fest--Logan

Our last competition is behind us. We accomplished some amazing things this year! I am proud to be a part of Infinity!

At this competition the rankings are given in medal form. Platinum, High Gold, Gold, High Silver, Silver and so on. There were 224 dances at this competition with 22 studios from Utah and Idaho. The competition is STIFF here. We represented ourselves VERY WELL!

Cheetah Love High Gold Overall winner in the Mini Division Also received Best Hip Hop in the Tiny/Mini Division

Speed Racer PLATINUM! There were 224 dances and only 7 platinum awards given. Also received Best Costume in the Advanced Division.

At the end of all the dances they find an average overall score for each studio.
Infinity Dance Studio won the HIGHEST OVERALL AVERAGE out of 22 studios!

On a side note, I want to let you know how far we have come this year. At the Logan Competition last year, we barely placed in the top 10 at all. We did get a few High Gold awards, but we did not do well as a whole overall. For us to come back and WIN the whole thing shows some major improvement and dedication on your part! Thank you to everyone for working so hard this year!

Dance Unlimited--Burley Competition

We just got back from Dance Unlimited in Burley this weekend and

OH MY did we do GREAT!

So proud of all our dancers and the hard work you put in!

Here is a recap of the results.

Every dance is given a "star" rating.

All the team dances were given 4 stars!

Great job!

Beyond that, each dance was ranked according to dance style and age group. On the division level, there is a TOP 10 ranking as well as some judges choice and overall awards.

I know it is a lot to process. We were a bit confused by it all too.

Novice Division

Kung Fu won High Score in the Character Dance category. It placed 2nd in the Top 10.

Jump Up won High Score in the Hip Hop category. It also got High Score for the 6 year olds. It placed 1st in the Top 10.

Beginner Division

Centerfield placed 3rd in the Top 10.

Cheetah Love won High Score in the Hip Hop category as well as High Score for the 9 year olds. It placed 1st in the Top 10.

Overall Awards for Novice/Beginner Division

This includes all dances; solos, duos, trios and teams.

Centerfield won a Judges Choice award for Artistry in Costumes.

Kung Fu won Command Performance.

Jump Up won Overall High Score.

Junior Intermediate Division

All Dressed in Love won High Score in the Jazz category and High Score for the 11 year olds.

One Step at a Time won High Score for the 10 year olds. It also placed 4th in the Top 10.

When I Grow Up won High Score for Hip Hop and High Score for the 12 year olds. It placed 1st in the Top 10. It also took the Command Performance award for the Jr. Division.

Combined Level Division

Speed Racer won High Score for Jazz category and High Score for the 14 year olds. It placed 1st in the Top 10.

Toy Soldier won High Score for the Hip Hop category. It placed 2nd in the Top 10.

Senior Division

Gravity won High Score in the Modern Dance category. It placed 4th in the Top 10.

Skippin' won High Score in the Hip Hop category and High Score for the 17 year olds. It placed 1st in the Top 10.

Skippin' won Overall High Score for the ENTIRE COMPETITION!

Ogden Competition Results

As promised here is the follow up to Gertie's email and recap of the Ogden competition results.

First off, let me just say that we did AWESOME at the competition.

So awesome in fact, that Derryl Yeager HIMSELF invited us to perform with his professional dance company Odyssey Dance Theatre on Thursday night. Derryl has been a professional dancer for over 20 years and has performed in many Broadway shows including A Chorus Line, Dream Girls, and Cats. He is a choreographer and has directed for many shows at Tuacahn in St. George, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Oklahoma. He founded the Odyssey Dance Theatre in Salt Lake City and they are currently showing their Spring show at Kingsbury Hall on the University of Utah campus.

The solo dancers all danced BEAUTIFULLY and we are very proud of them. The competition is AMAZING in Utah. Talk about a whole other level of dance! We feel blessed to even be able to be among them!

Here are the results of the Team Competition.

The ranking is done like medal contention. Platinum is the highest (they did not give out any at this competition), then High Gold(there were only 6 awarded and we got 3!), Gold, High Silver, and so on.

Our mini's did a halftime at Skyline High School on Wednesday night. They danced "Jump-Up" and did great! We got a lot of compliments and definitely entertained the crowd.

The winter recital is quickly approaching. Our teachers and dancers are putting in so much hard work to make it great! Here is a quick reference of times. All events are taking place at the Hillcrest High School Auditorium.

Dress Rehearsal-December 18th
All dancers need to be there on time and in full hair and make-up. (You will receive notice of how their teacher wants their hair done.)
4:30-5:00- All 3,4 and 5 year olds
5:00-6:30- All 1st-2nd graders, Minis
6:30-7:30- All 3rd-6th graders, Smalls
7:30-8:30- All 7th-Up, Juniors, Jazzerettes

Just to remind you that there will be NO DANCE on Thursday October 2 or Friday October 3.

As a rule, we follow District 91 and 93: when there in no school, there is no dance.

Monday the 22nd--Regular Classes at Regular times
Wednesday the 24th--EVERYONE here from 4-7 pm
Friday the 26th--Everyone here from 4:30-6:30pm

The parent meeting for all competing teams will be Wed Sept 24th at 8:00 pm.

It is important for every student to have a parent at this meeting! Everything you need to know for the competition season will be discussed.

Monday Schedule Changes

Hello Dancers! We are EXCITED to start dance on Monday! We are looking forward to a great year! There are a few schedule changes for Monday I wanted to make you aware of.

3 and 4 year olds will start at their regularly scheduled times.

1- 3 grade class will go from 3:15-4:15 rather than 3-4. Too many people had school schedule conflicts.

Jrs and Jazzerettes will have class from 4-7.

Beginning Pointe will go from 7-7:30.

If you did not pay September Tuition at registration it is due the first week of class. It needs to be paid by Sept 12 to avoid a late fee.

Fall Registration starts today!

Aug 27 from 6-8 pm for all returning students.

Aug 28 from 6-8 pm for all new students!

There is a $25 registration fee for every student.

We are excited to see you all again and can't wait for dance to start!

First day of Dance will be Sept 8.
